At Christ Apostolic Church Mountain of Mercy, our beliefs are firmly grounded in the unchanging truth of God’s Word and the spiritual legacy of Christ Apostolic Church, Nigeria and Overseas. We are a Spirit-filled, prayer-driven church, passionate about seeing lives transformed through the power of Jesus Christ.
1. The Triune God
We believe in one true and living God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—Creator of all things, who exists eternally and reigns in power, love, and righteousness.
2. The Bible
We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God, serving as the final guide for our faith and daily living.
3. Salvation by Grace Through Faith
We believe that salvation comes through faith in Jesus Christ alone, who died for our sins, rose again, and offers eternal life to all who believe.
4. Sanctification and Holiness
We believe in living a life of holiness, made possible through the work of the Holy Spirit. As believers, we are called to be separate from sin and fully devoted to God.
5. Baptism of the Holy Spirit
We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit, evidenced by speaking in tongues and accompanied by spiritual gifts for edification and effective service.
6. Water Baptism
We practice baptism by immersion in water as a public declaration of our faith in Jesus Christ.
7. Divine Healing and Deliverance
We believe in divine healing as part of Christ’s redemptive work and that God still heals and delivers today through prayer and faith.
8. The Second Coming of Christ
We believe in the imminent return of our Lord Jesus Christ, the resurrection of the dead, and eternal life with God for all who remain faithful.
9. The Church as the Body of Christ
We believe the Church is the living Body of Christ, called to worship, disciple, serve, and proclaim the Gospel to the nations.
10. Prayer and Revival
We believe in the power of fervent, Spirit-led prayer and the ongoing work of revival to restore hearts, families, and nations back to God.
At CAC Mountain of Mercy, we don’t just believe—we live it, preach it, and invite others to experience it.
